Michael L. F. Slavin was raised by his grandparents, graduated West Point and served 10 years in the Army. Recruited out of the Army and then fired, this started 7 very tough in-between years. His cars were reposed, his house foreclosed on, and he had to declare bankruptcy. Then he started his own business, with no money of his own, and 3 ½ years later he had his first million dollars in the bank.
