What is your book about?
Love Demystified: Strategies for a Successful Love Life is a recently released book for people in any stage of a loving relationship—finding a new love, fixing a current relationship, loving again after a loss.
What inspired you to write your book?
As a professor of psychology for more than 35 years I lectured on psychological research about love so I decided to put this research together in a book to help others with their love life.

I am also a licensed clinical psychologist seeing patients at the Richard C. Palmer, M.D. Medical Corporation in Torrance, California.
What is a typical day like for you?
On a typical day I see patients (now via Zoom) and also do some writing.
What do you most enjoy about what you do?
The variety of people I interact with daily enriches me.

Feeling Good by David Burns, M.D. and The Art of Happiness by The Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler, M.D.
What advice do you have to offer our readers?
Try to stay fully present with yourself and with others.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I have trained professors and created psychology curriculum in Borneo, Malaysia, and Barbados as a Fulbright Scholar.
What’s next for you?
After 50 years of happy marriage to my psychiatrist husband, I am looking forward to at least 20 more years.
