Author Bio:

Jason Van Camp (1977 – present) was born in Washington, D.C., to Bernard and Jane Van Camp, grew up in Springfield, Virginia, and is currently the Founder and Chairman of Mission Six Zero. Jason attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1995 – 2001 where he played linebacker for the Black Knights football team. While at West Point, he also served a 2-year LDS Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints mission to St. Petersburg, Russia from 1997-1999. Later, he attended Brigham Young University where he earned his MBA. Jason retired from the US Army in 2015, having served most of his military career as a Green Beret in the US Special Forces. Nowadays, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Lizzie, his almost 3-year old daughter, Claire Jane, and his 6-month old son, Jack. Jason is the proud author of Deliberate Discomfort: How US Special Operations Forces Overcome Fear and Dare to Win by Getting Comfortable Being Uncomfortable.
