Author Bios
Dr. Deane Waldman, MD, MBA, is an Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics, Pathology, and Decision Science at the University of New Mexico. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has served in numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Chicago, Director of the Center for Healthcare Policy at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Chairman of Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Mexico, and Director of the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange Board.
Vance Ginn, Ph.D., (hard “G,” like “again”) is president of Ginn Economic Consulting and former chief economist of the Office of Management and Budget during the first Trump administration. He is a nationally recognized economist and dedicated advocate for free-market efforts that promote economic growth, opportunity, and fiscal responsibility.
