Author Bio

The Essential Guide for Families with Down Syndrome is a personal passion project which has acted as a catalyst for engaging with many other families and experts with the aim of accelerating their journey toward independence.

I retired after 30 years in corporate America leading logistics and commercial teams in the energy industry. Suddenly, I had the opportunity to find a new calling. I reconnected with my teenage love of writing. Not only has it allowed me to align with my creative side, but writing has provided a vehicle for connecting with others and helping to make a difference.

My wife, Jennifer, and I are now enjoying the empty-nester lifestyle in Austin, Texas. Our oldest daughter, Gwendolyn, resides in an independent living community nearby, and we all enjoy visiting our other children, Maddie and Noah, who are scattered around the country.
