The Nonfiction Authors Association hosts a popular Nonfiction Book Awards program, and we are seeking qualified volunteers to serve as judges and book reviewers.
As a participant, you will be asked to read and rate a minimum of four books per year and provide a brief review of one to three paragraphs that we will share with the author. In exchange, you will earn complimentary Authority membership to the Nonfiction Authors Association ($390 value). Books are typically in digital format, though we will occasionally ship hard copies.

The Nonfiction Book Awards program honors books year-round, so entries are welcome at any time.
Books are not judged against competing titles but are reviewed by our judges using a scoring system that evaluates the quality of the book’s writing and production (editing, design, and other details). A book may receive a bronze, silver, or gold award based on the final evaluation score.
As with other reputable awards programs, not all books receive a Nonfiction Book Award. However, books that are well-written and professionally produced often qualify for a bronze, silver, or gold award.
