I'm fortunate enough to be have earned awards in copywriting, marketing and professional sales. I'm also an aspiring author with a long list of book ideas and titles. Now I just need to get them going strong. Even as a little girl growing up in the good old midwest in Des Moines, Iowa, my passions were and definitely still are now writing, people and dogs.

I'm one of those surprised people who can say, "I can't believe I picked the right college majors and minors. I graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in journalism and minors in sociology and psychology (I love people). I now live in the north Dallas, Texas area with my husband and two golden retrievers. I've always had two goldens at a time ever since I graduated from college. OK, and one 6 ft. on his hind legs Newfoundland, Joshua, who protected me from an attacker. He was bigger than the guy.

I have two dog books I'm starting on and maybe some magazine articles. I think mentors and writing buddies are worth their weight in better than gold - in diamonds. I love people and love to help people.
