After two decades of writing creative non-fiction for others, Carolyn steps out of the shadows to publish her first anthology of overcoming adversity. The theme of the book parallels her journey of self-discovery, resiliency, and reinvention.

Having worked in the corporate sector for most of her professional career, she traded in her suburban office space for a window seat to the world and became a flight attendant with a major carrier. When she is not soaring at 30,000 feet, she spends her time volunteering and honing her passion for photography, cooking, and creative writing.

Carolyn life’s work is to inspire women to identify and use their talents for self-empowerment and service to others. To that end, a portion of book sales is earmarked for organizations committed to helping women empower themselves.

A native of Chicago, IL, she currently resides in San Francisco, CA
