Diane Helentjaris received her BA cum laude in Interdisciplinary Humanities and her M.D. from Michigan State University. She received her Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan. She currently is busy writing and photographing regional stories from her home near the Blue Ridge mountains in Virginia and is working on her book about a 19th century woman kidnapper.
