Kathleen Maca has been researching genealogies and cemeteries for over 40 years. A graduate of Sam Houston State University, she is a member of the Texas Chapter for the Association of Gravestone Studies, and a regular contributor to Galveston Monthly magazine. Her books "Galveston's Broadway Cemeteries" and "Ghosts of Galveston" explore largely unexplored aspects of Galveston history.
