Author bio
Craig K. Svensson is Dean Emeritus and Professor of Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology in the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, as well as Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology in the Indiana University School of Medicine. He is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, American Heart Association, and the American Cancer Society. Dr. Svensson received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland and his Doctor of Philosophy from the University at Buffalo. He was selected as a 175th Anniversary Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
