Author Richard D. Templeton’s past includes teaching English in Japan, traveling around the world, serving as a police officer, firefighter/EMT, telecommunications analyst, college administrator, radio announcer and other professions. In retirement, he is a pyrotechnician, a tour guide at the Hagley Museum which was the DuPont gunpowder mills, a writer, and a publisher. He lives in Delaware with a polydactyl cat and his wife, who has the normal number of fingers and toes.

    Struck by the number of children deaths. They equaled or surpassed the number of explosion deaths
