DENISE A WHITE

Coming from New York State and moving to 8 locations, I now call Minnesota home. And here is where I write. I published a novel and two poetry books. My authentic voice is in poetry. My new memoir is multi-genre. I looked to the forty journals from my teens to the present to carry the memoir and pertinent poetry. There are narrative breaks so the reader can rest from some of the intense material of having bipolar disorder. This format is unique to books on this topic. I am in a successful space after sixty-seven years of living with this disorder. In addition to my profession, I am a djembe drummer, gardener, photographer, and walker.
