Author bio
Dr. Jack Stoltzfus is a Licensed Psychologist, practicing in Shoreview, Minnesota. He has two masters degrees and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980. His research and dissertation focused on defining and measuring healthy emotional separation of adolescents from their parents. Also, within this study, Dr. Stoltzfus identified behaviors of parents of normal adolescents that most contributed to this healthy separation process. He has been a certified marriage and family therapist and a licensed chemical dependency counselor. He is a member of the American Psychology Association and is recognized as one of America’s Top Doctors.
