Book Description
"Good Wife Gone Bad" is a coming-of-age story of my life growing up in the 60's and living in- and ultimately escaping from - a troubled marriage. It addresses serious social and emotional issues that are still being dealt with in today's society: infidelity, emotional and verbal abuse, abortion, desertion and abandonment, anxiety and panic disorders, post-partum depression, and divorce. It is a story that touches women of all ages.

Author bio
After working in administration for a county government agency in Northern Virginia for over 25 years, I sustained an injury to my right hand and had to retire. Retirement is clearly the best career ever, but it's quite frustrating at times that I no longer have the strength and stamina in my hand to play sports or enjoy my hobbies, like sewing, playing piano, and exploring on my laptop, which I would probably do all day long if I could!

I always wanted to write, but I wasn't sure where to begin and what topic to write about. I came upon an article that stated you should "write about what you know". Hmm....I knew plenty about the the fine line between love and hate in a marriage, so I began writing a journal of the many obstacles and difficulties I encountered during my 17-year marriage. I categorized the topics and put them in chronological order. I wasn't even sure I was capable of typing on my computer for long periods of time, but my husband purchased speech recognition software for me, along with a touch screen computer....... and before long, I was on my way to writing my book!
