She discovered that she could pursue her love for Naturopathy and earned a Doctorate through the Trinity College of Natural Health, specializing in Nutrition. Moving to Placerville in 2003, Betty catered as a personal chef for clients and customers at the local farmers market and sold a line of gluten free baked goods, as well as sauces, chutneys, and relishes to local businesses.
