Marcia Shury

Marcia S. Shury was born in Guyana. She is the mother of one daughter. She has spent a large portion of her adult life living in foreign lands including Italy and Bermuda. Although examined by several specialists in their field of Ear, Nose and Throat over the years, it has never been conclusively stated that she is deaf. Without clear diagnosis, she continues to work extra hard to overcome her baffling handicap. A devout believer, she believes that in order to love another, one must first love themselves no matter the challenges. In addition to caring for her family, she an active member of the Toastmaster's Club and also an avid Runner who have run the NYC Marathon and many other races.
