Favorite Quote or Personal Motto

"Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today." My dad, George C. Lundquist, self-employed insurance investigator who came from Stockholm on a ship at age 13, with his younger sister in tow, and learned English by reading newspaper headlines.

"Lime punch will be lovely in April." My mom, Jessamine Lee Lundquist, volunteer wedding coordinator at the church for 35 years. (The message here is patience. I must have heard mom say this 1,000 times to brides and every time she said it, she made it sound like the first time and the bride felt special.)
