Author bio
Kitty Janusz grew up in a paranormally active house where ghostly events would occur almost daily. Kitty and her family came to consider this spirit as just another member of the household. Still living in the quaint old city of Whittier, Ca, Kitty began researching historic locations and investigating the paranormal around 1990. Her favorite local haunt is the RMS Queen Mary.
Her paranormal investigations led her to focus on EVPs, or Electronic Voice Phenomena. Kitty found she was able to capture evidence of the paranormal through intelligent audio responses more predictably than photographic evidence. "Orbs can be so subjective."
During her years of investigating historic haunted locations, Kitty has personally investigated with some of the top names in the paranormal field. Some notables include Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson of Ghost Hunters, Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin of Ghost Adventures, EVP specialists Mark and Debby Constantino, psychic Chris Fleming, Patrick Burns, author Jeff Belanger, demonologist Adam Blai, psychic Chip Coffey, inventor and founder of Digital Dowsing Bill Chappell as well as Darkness Radio's Dave Schrader.
Kitty's years as an investigator and capturing spirit voices asking for help led her on a path to enhance her own psychic abilities. She needed a way to communicate with the dead directly.
In this book, Kitty shares her journey on expanding her awareness of the spirit world which surrounds us, and how each of us can become educated, responsible researchers of the paranormal.
Kitty appears on the weekly radio show, Into the Light Paranormal, talking to psychics, authors, UFO hunters and interesting folks who live life "On the fringe". Kitty also regularly hosts paranormal events at historic locations, giving insight into the history of each location and how to use one's own intuitive abilities to connect with spirit.
Kitty lives in Whittier, Ca, with her husband, Joseph, two cats and her Bull Terrier, Basset Hound mix, Alice. Kitty has always been a strong advocate of animal rescue groups and removing misconceptions surrounding "Bully" breeds.
Kitty continues to give lectures, assist in metaphysical classes and still finds time to go on the occasional ghost hunt. Even if it's spending the afternoon at an old cemetery taking photographs, it's a good day..
