Christy is a lover of books. She has written for small magazines and newsletters over the years. For more than 12 years she's been writing on her blog about life as it comes and she recently began writing with her husband of 22 years about marriage family and parenting at Christian Home Life. She lives on the land with her husband, 4 children and 2 dogs

Most recently, she is undertaking the task of her lifetime. A book about her Uncle who was a legendary thumbpicker and producer in Nashville. He was so focused on others that even though he worked with folks like Elvis, Jimmy Buffett, The Gatlin's and Tom T. Hall he never realized how special he was.
