Special Children, the Children with Special Needs Guidebook
Book Description
"Special Children, the Children with Special Needs Guidebook" is an all-inclusive resource book for parents, teachers, aides, school administrators, medical and alternative health practitioners and anyone who spends time with special needs children (ages 3-21). For the new parents of a special needs child, this book has easy-to-find information and resources to help you understand the words, treatments and legal rights your child needs and deserves. For the educational professional, this book contains details on the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), intervention methods and even teaching tips. This is especially helpful to those professionals who haven't had formal training in working with special needs children. For the practitioner, this book contains updates to the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), and the changes to the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) diagnosis. There's even a section on alternative treatments and therapies. If you are new to the world of special needs children and need a single-source to answer common questions, there's no need to scour the internet ... the "Special Children, the Children With Special Needs Guidebook" is all you need.

Author bio
Hi friends. I like to think of myself as a renaissance type of guy ... seriously ... in all humility ;^)

I now have four published books on IT Project Management and self-help (children with special needs).

Along with my published books, I've written scores of white papers and technical documents for private companies. I have two chemistry journal publications (the Journal of Atmospheric and Aerosol Chemistry).

My published books are:

"The Special Children Guidebook", 1st ed. copyright 2004 The Special Children Partnership. [A primer for parents, teachers & caregivers of Autism Spectrum Disorder children].

The "PMBOK Guide 3rd edition" (co-author), copyright 2004 PMI (Project Management Institute). [The world standard for those in the Project Management profession and required reading for those sitting for the PMP certification].

"Project Management in Small Business" (co-author with Karl Palachuk), copyright 2014 SMB Publishing. [Here on Amazon.com ... take a look :]

"Special Children, the Children with Special Needs Guidebook", 2nd ed., copyright 2016 by Azure Reading Books. [The 2nd edition of the above ... dusted off and updated for all 50 states].

I just started my own publishing company: "Azure Reading Books, LLC". The genres will be what they may.

I enjoy playing my Alto Saxophone, Clarinet and piano, dancing Argentine Tango, restoring (and riding) classic Asian motorcycles, meditation, cooking and consuming fermented grape juice ;^)

Enjoy my ideas ... and feel free to get in touch at (danajg007@gmail.com, dana@azurereadingbooks.com).
