Jennifer Y. Levy-Peck, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and has her own human services firm, Levy-Peck Consulting, LLC. In her “day job,” she provides training and technical writing related to victim advocacy and related topics, and serves as the Accreditor for Washington State sexual assault programs. She is also a Training and Development Specialist for End Violence Against Women International. She formerly worked as Program Management Specialist for the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs. Dr. Levy-Peck has worked with trauma survivors and in program development for more than 30 years. Her most recent book, Magic at Midlife: Your Relationship Roadmap for Romance After 40, is aimed at boomers and seniors who want to find and maintain a lasting, loving relationship. Dr. Levy-Peck has also written a book for parents of children who have been sexually abused, and has been a presenter at national, regional, and local conferences. She is co-editor (and has written several chapters) of Intimate Partner Sexual Violence: A Multidisciplinary Guide to Improving Services and Support for Survivors of Rape and Abuse, and the forthcoming Perpetrators of Intimate Partner Sexual Violence: Prevention, Recognition, and Intervention. She and her husband live among the evergreens in Washington State.
