When I write the first draft of a book’s back cover, or it’s Amazon description, or any other marketing piece for a book… it’s usually pretty good, but not great. And sometimes, it’s even less than pretty good.
However, I never worry because I know great book marketing copy comes from “fixing” it during the revision process. And I tend to revise my copy a lot until I’m satisfied it’s as good as it can be.
