Craig K. Svensson

Craig K. Svensson, PharmD, PhD is Dean Emeritus and Professor of Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology in the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, as well as Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology in the Indiana University School of Medicine. Sandra CH Smith

Sandra CH Smith’s book, Out of the Fog! A Story of Survival, Faith and Courage, is about how marital discord, alcoholism and suicidal despair led her to buy a 35-foot sailboat, teach herself how to sail and spend 7 years sailing mostly alone, sometimes with her teenaged daughter, in the Pacific. David Johnson

David Johnson book, Rampage along Route 66 is a true crime story that is over 50 years old. He states: “The story touched me personally, as a high school senior, I knew one of the police officers who was killed, and my then girlfriend (later my wife) witnessed the second officer get murdered.” Read more about his book here.

Merryl Hammond

Merryl Hammond was diagnosed with bipolar at age 51 and flipped from being a nurse and health consultant to a locked ward patient. She published her memoir, “Mad Like Me: Travels in Bipolar Country,” in 2018, and then decided to work with others to share their stories in this anthology. Gloria Sloan
