Member of the Week: Richard Easton, author of GPS Declassified: From Smart Bombs to SmartphonesRichard Easton grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. He graduated from Brown University and work as an actuary. In 2005, he started researching the history of GPS. His father is generally credited with inventing it; and the stories in the media about its history were often wildly inaccurate.
