What is your book about?

Dog training for the average family.

What inspired you to write your book?

My clients.

Family Companion DogCan you describe your writing process?

I wrote my book to address my clients’ needs. I worked through the problems they needed solved and put into a workbook.

How did you come to do what you’re doing today?

I have been into dog training and behavior since 1995. Creating written material has always been part of it, so making the information available to more people seemed like the next step.

Can you describe a typical day in your life?

I spend most of my days helping people with their dogs – bonding, training, making behavior changes, and creating a better relationship.

What do you most enjoy about what you do?

Everything – the success stories, of course.

Are there any people and/or books that have inspired you along your journey?

Several dog trainers inspired me to become all I can be; many friends inspired me to write the book and cheered me on.

Can you share something that people may be surprised to learn about you?

I hate dog hair.

What’s next for you?

A series of workbooks, a training manual for the owner-trained service dog, and ????
