“Julie Ryan McGue was born in Chicago, Illinois. She is a domestic adoptee and an identical twin. She received her BA from Indiana University in Psychology in 1981. She earned a MM in Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University in 1984. Twice a Daughter: A Search for Identity, Family, and Belonging, is her first book.
Married for over thirty-five years, Julie and her husband split their time between Northwest Indiana and Sarasota, Florida. She is the mother of four adult children. Julie is currently working on a collection of personal essays. ”
