Hey, nonfiction authors. Here is how to create your most effective lead magnet, one that actually makes your target readers want to buy your book. The key is to offer them something of value that speaks to their interests, needs, and challenges as they relate to what your book is about. And we can often do this in list format.

So for example, if you’ve authored a book about business leadership, your lead magnet might be, “Ten common mistakes that new business leaders make and how to avoid them.” Or if your book is about food allergies, it could be, “Seven ways to spot hidden gluten in grocery store foods.” Or if your book is about weight loss for women over 40, it could be, “Five metabolism hacks that will blow your mind.”

And then at the end of your lead magnet, you say, “Hey, if you got value here, you’ll get even more value from my book. Go check it out. Here’s a link to buy the book.” This works like magic. And let me also demonstrate how I’m going to do this here. If you found this video helpful, you’ll love my Email List Builder Lab.

It is an accelerated course specifically for nonfiction authors. I’d love to help you blow up your email list and sell way more books.
