Last week we asked our community on Facebook to answer this question: If you were beginning your author career today, what would you do differently?
Here’s what they had to say:
David Evans: When I first start writing, I had some good indications that writing was the thing I was good at, and should seriously pursue. (I had a job writing funny greeting cards at American greetings, and had some very good selling cards.) However, I was very interested in music and science (neither of which I was very good at). and I kept trying to find some success in those fields. So, if I was beginning my career all over again, I would be focus on writing, and not try to force success in a different career that clearly wasn’t working.
