Round-Up Question of the Week: If you were beginning your author career today, what would you do differently?

Last week we asked our community on Facebook to answer this question: If you were beginning your author career today, what would you do differently? If you were beginning your author career today, what would you do differently

Here’s what they had to say:

David Evans: When I first start writing, I had some good indications that writing was the thing I was good at, and should seriously pursue. (I had a job writing funny greeting cards at American greetings, and had some very good selling cards.) However, I was very interested in music and science (neither of which I was very good at). and I kept trying to find some success in those fields. So, if I was beginning my career all over again, I would be focus on writing, and not try to force success in a different career that clearly wasn’t working.
