What are some of your favorite books for writers? This week we asked our community on Facebook to answer this question: What are some of your favorite books for writers? Here’s what they had to say:

My two favorite books to recommend to new and emerging writers are Strunk & White’s “The Elements of Style” and Stephen King’s “On Writing.” The books compliment one another but they are from such different writers in different eras and in such different styles that together they remind us that “good writing” takes many shapes and forms. When done well, good writing also transcends time and place and stays “fresh” long after the ink is dry. – Pamela Price is the author of two parenting books from GHF Press. I found Self-editing for Fiction Writers by Browne and King very helpful; even though I was writing memoir, the concepts are the same. – Linda Strader https://summersoffirebook.blogspot.com/
