Last week we asked our community on Facebook to answer this question: What are your best productivity tips for writers?
Here’s what they had to say:
Anne Janzer: My single best productivity tip is to divide writing into its different stages (research or freewriting, outlining, incubating, drafting, revision) so that you can approach each one in the right mindset – because they use different mental processes. Doing that alone will make you more productive – and the writing process more enjoyable.
Bio: Anne Janzer is the author of three books, including The Writer’s Process: Getting Your Brain in Gear, which is about optimizing creativity and productivity in your writing process.
