Blake Atwood
Join us as Blake Atwood & Clay Morgan share How to Create Amazon Alexa Skills (Amazon’s version of an app)
Tens of millions of users own Amazon’s Echo family of products, which are the voice recognition devices also known as Alexa. In the same way that you can have apps created for smart phones, you can now become a developer of Alexa Skills, which give users a more personalized experience with their devices.
Blake Atwood recently developed an Alexa Skill for “Writing Quote of the Day,” which means that users can enable this skill for free and then say, “Alexa, open the writing quote of the day.”
Clay Morgan teaches a class on how to become an Alexa Skill developer with Storyline–without being a programmer–so that you can reach the Amazon user audience with your expertise. Join us for this enlightening discussion on new technology that can potentially help you expand your platform.
Blake Atwood is a writer, ghostwriter, and wordsmith who helps writers tell better stories, choose the right path to publication, and how to best market their words. He and his family live in Dallas, Texas, where they daily pray for the AC never to falter.
