About Janica Smith
Janica Smith is the owner and CEO of PublishingSmith where she leads a team that helps passionate, creative people who want to become published authors. Janica has been instrumental in helping to publishing books for more than 40 authors. She has helped her clients establish more than 35 independent publishing companies. She has a talent for taking care of details and providing the framework that allows creative people to flourish. She takes a comprehensive approach to the business of authorship and provides other business administrative support to her clients through another branch of her company called AdminiSmith.
Janica learned much of what she knows about publishing from Jan King who has been a longtime mentor. Janica was one of the first to be certified as a Professional Virtual Author’s Assistants and a beta tester for the Professional Virtual Speaker’s Assistant training program. Janica has recently formed a new company, InstructionSmith, in partnership with Michelle Scappace to take over the PVAA and PVSA training programs after Jan King’s retirement. She is enthusiastic about helping to train and promote professional assistants for the author/speaker community.
