About Yasmine Ali
Dr. Ali is a cardiologist and award-winning writer who has published across genres and formats, including medical writing, blogging, prescriptive nonfiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. She is currently at work on a medically-themed novel with international appeal.
Dr. Ali is a member of the Authors Guild and the American Medical Writers Association. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and of the American College of Physicians (FACP). She is also a member of the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, the National Lipid Association, and the Tennessee Medical Association. She holds MD and MSCI (Master of Science in Clinical Investigation) degrees from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she is now an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. Her website.
